Meh, school starts again and a hell lot of writing is baaaaa! (see, Shaun the sheep's commercial break is still in my head!!! Can I have more break? ... o probably not ...) No blogging promise, but I'll keep you updated with something really cool that I'm working on: A moving out!
'Kay, so I've been staying in my auntie's house since I went here for college, but it takes 1 hour and a half on bus or 45mins at least on motorbike to get to school (mom won't let me ride that far) so even things have been unbelievably cool in my aunt's super nice house, way to school is seriously a long way to go. Before Tet (ah great, I didn't post any photos of my Tet on here, right? I'll post few more of 'em on Flickr and for the rest, please add my Facebook - write me something in the personal message box and that should be fine :D), a girlfriend living in D7 for her studying Law school told me that she's in need of a roommate since she was going to move out. And yeap, I talked to Mom over the vacation and I'll move out with her to a new place, which takes around 15-20mins to school. That ain't bad considering the traffic condition in this crazy city.
I took a look at our new flat on Tuesday and felt quite good about it. It's just an ordinary renting flat but since it was built just before Tet, everything's very clean :) We have a kitchen table, a bathroom and a wooden floor upstairs to turn into the bedroom. While my friend was talking about the furniture and stuffs that we need to bring there, I was so excited when I see the color of the wall. It's a mix of orange and peach, kind of a terracotta-alike color. The floor is dark orange, so it will do good :) You will say I'm mad, but I created a palette on Colourlovers to decorate our flat *eyes rolling*

My roommate loves green and when we went to Hachi Hachi the other day, she picked a green pencil holder with magnet over the creamy one for our flat (I wish I was tougher... The creamy's so fine :( We could do more vintage stuffs with it...). Anyway, we have an iron grey stair to stick the holder on. The idea of a highlight green object makes me think more about the stuffs that we'll put in the room. Though I initially want only orange, white, grey (and probably brown) in the palette, the things that we use everyday do not stick to these 3 colors. I have a bright blue backpack with 2 big highlight green/yellow lines on it. My pencil case: green. My most used sticky note: green. My toothbrush: (randomly) green. Nail polish remover bottle: green. I didn't know that I use that much green stuffs everyday. I like the color of matcha. I also like the way people use different shades of green together or with brown (a big win!), or white (a bigger win!), but if it's a large use of only one shade of green, oh please :(
So I planned to make it as vintage look as possible, but now I guess we'll need a little touch of modern green in this :) The palette ain't too bad, right?
What's your favorite color btw?
Bye for now. Will catch you up later ;)
Love,
Love,
Scarlett.
Wow, that's a LOT OF BLABBERING.
